Project Overview
This project involved the comprehensive design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete turnkey fire and life safety infrastructure for Sultana Sweaters Limited (Labib Group). The primary objective was to establish an advanced, multi-faceted fire safety system to protect the facility's extensive production area, high-value garment assets, and workforce in full compliance with local and international safety standards.
Scope of Work:
Energyshield Engineering Ltd. successfully executed the complete Turnkey Solution (Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning) for Sultana Sweaters Limited (Labib Group) covering the following core systems:
- Fire Protection System: Complete water-based fire suppression network including automatic sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, and standpipe hose cabinet assemblies across the production floors.
- Fire Detection System: Intelligent addressable fire alarm system designed for rapid smoke and heat detection, ensuring early warning and immediate evacuation capabilities.
- Fire Door & Compartmentation: Installation of certified UL-listed fire-rated steel doors with heavy-duty panic hardware to create safe egress routes and contain fire hazards within designated compartments.
Standards Followed:
All engineering, design, and installation works strictly adhered to relevant international fire safety codes and local building regulations:
- Fire Safety Standards: NFPA 13 (Standard for the Installation of Sprinkler Systems), NFPA 14 (Standard for Standpipe and Hose Systems), NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code), and NFPA 80 (Standard for Fire Doors and Other Opening Protectives).
- Local Compliance: BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) and Accord/RSC/Alliance life safety guidelines.
