Project Overview
This project involved the comprehensive design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete turnkey safety and environmental control infrastructure for Eastern Refinery Limited at their YMCA Building facility in Dhaka. The primary objective was to implement a robust, multi-faceted fire protection and climate control solution, ensuring maximum safety for high-value assets, operational continuity, and an optimal indoor environment for personnel.
Scope of Work
Energyshield Engineering Ltd. successfully executed the complete Turnkey Solution (Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning) for Eastern Refinery Limited, covering the following systems:
- Fire Protection System: Complete water-based fire protection network including standpipe and hydrant systems to protect critical infrastructure.
- Gas Suppression System: Specialized clean agent gas suppression tailored to safeguard sensitive electrical panels, control panels, and server rooms without damaging equipment.
- HVAC System: Advanced Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) HVAC system providing efficient climate control, air circulation, and temperature regulation.
Standards Followed
All engineering and installation work strictly complied with international and local industry codes:
- Fire Safety Standards: NFPA 72, NFPA 14, NFPA 101, and NFPA 770.
- HVAC & Environmental Standards: BNBC, ASHRAE, and SMACNA standards.
