Project Overview
This project involved the comprehensive design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a dedicated firefighting system for a 110 MW HFO Based Power Plant owned by Acorn Infrastructure Services Ltd. The objective was to implement a robust fire safety infrastructure, focusing on a high-capacity manual firefighting network to ensure the safety of critical assets and personnel.
Execution Work:
We, Energyshield Engineering Ltd., successfully completed the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of the Fire Protection System at Acorn Infrastructure Services Ltd. (Phase-specific Solution), including the following system:
- Fire Protection (Hydrant) System: Full installation of the external and internal fire hydrant network, including ring mains, high-pressure piping, landing valves, and fully equipped fire hose cabinets.
Note: This project specifically covers the comprehensive Fire Hydrant System; it does not include an automatic sprinkler system.
Standards Followed during execution of the works: NFPA 14 (Standard for the Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems), NFPA 20 (Standard for the Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection), and BNBC (Bangladesh National Building Code) standards.
