Project Overview
This project involved the turnkey solution of design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of Fire Protection & Detection, and specialized aspiration system for Siegwerk Bangladesh Ltd. The objective was to implement a highly sophisticated, multi-faceted fire safety infrastructure to ensure maximum protection for critical industrial assets, hazardous materials, and personnel within the facility.
Execution Work:
We, Energyshield Engineering Ltd., successfully completed the Design, Supply, Installation, Testing & Commissioning of the comprehensive Fire Fighting Systems (Turnkey Solution) at Siegwerk Bangladesh Ltd., including the following systems:
- Fire Detection & Alarm System: Deployment of an intelligent, early-warning addressable fire alarm network for rapid hazard identification.
- Aspirating Smoke Detection (ASD) System: Installation of a highly sensitive, very early warning aspirating smoke detection system designed for critical or high-risk industrial zones.
- Fire Protection System: Implementation of high-capacity firefighting infrastructure (including hydrant/sprinkler networks as per site design) to control and suppress fire hazards.
- Fire Extinguisher System: Strategic placement and installation of certified portable and wheeled fire extinguishers tailored to specific hazard classes.
- Standards Followed during execution of the works: NFPA 72 (Fire Alarm & ASD), NFPA 2001 (Clean Agent), NFPA 13/14 (Water-Based Protection), NFPA 10 (Portable Extinguishers), NFPA 101 (Life Safety Code), and BNBC standards.
